Hello my dear friends, I hope you are well.

First of all, thank you so much for all the support you have been showing me and for the nice feedback and comments you have been giving me! I am so happy to be doing my little shows here on Laid Back, and it makes me even happier to know that you guys are enjoying them as well.

Second of all, as you might know, I was very excited about playing that new track from JToTheC. As I mentioned in the show, “Late Night – Funkin’ That Ship” was taken from his preview EP “A Man and His Funk” and it is still available to download over at On-Point. The mini documentary I mentioned has now gone up on their website, something I definitely recommend you to check out as well!

Also, I have to admit that I am VERY excited about going to Brussels next weekend. Yes, that is correct, Little Miss Sunshiine is heading over the pond to cause mayhem and I sure do hope you BXL peeps are ready for the Orsii experience! It is a rather special one I can assure you. The main reason for my trip, apart from meeting up with the Laid Back crew and some other lovely people, is to attend RELEASE. Now, if you have no idea what it is I am talking about, make sure you head over to the RELEASE website for all the details. I have a feeling it is going to be a wicked party, and I am looking forward to hear some of the new talents that Belgium & surrounding countries have to offer! If you are a supporter of independent artists and music, I am expecting nothing less from you than that you attend this event. I am traveling all the way from London to attend it and to show my support and appreciation, so if you live in Brussels or anywhere near and you don’t get off you lazy bum and join us, I will be rather disappointed…

You can expect a full review of my trip to Brussels here on the Laid Back blog as soon as I have returned.  If you have any recommendations about what I should check out while I am there, please leave a comment. I have never been to Brussels (or Belgium) before, so all tips are more than welcome.

Oh and I have been ill with a rather nasty flu this week… However, not even a deadly virus can keep me away from you guys! My new show is almost done for next week, and even though I sound a bit like Barry White, I can assure you that it is a good one. I don’t want to give away too much, but be prepared to maybe discover some great Swedish artists that you might never heard of before.
