Laid Back collaborator through her “Succulent Sound” show on LDBK radio and the great jingles she recorded for us, LP is also a singer who just released a five tracks EP entitled “A new path” in colaboration with UK based producer K15. This EP is now available as a digital release through Amazon.
It all started back in 2007 with a hook up on myspace, one of those “I like your beats” and “I like your voice” interactions. The first collaboration “LP sings” eventuated a couple of weeks later receiving accolades from like minded souls and a lot of airplay through djs in NZ, UK and Europe including our very own LDBK radio. This track has now been reworked and mastered as the title track on the EP “A new path”.

LP (aka Lisa Preston) started writing beats on her MPC back in 2004 and although a novice on the beats, she’s been finding her voice and production skills over recent years working on collaborations with K15, Bluevibe studio, Jellphonic, 40 Winks and Skylab. Lisa features on the recently released Bluevibe Studio presents “This Life” Volume 1 and is currently working on a release with NZ beatmaker Jellphonic, due out on vinyl in March 09.
K15 is a UK based producer and music lover. He recently remixed a Sun Circle track “Amina” for Futuristica Music Family, and has been getting heavy rotate on radioshows with his tracks “Theme Music for a Pariah” and “Circles of Smoke”.
