aCatCalledFRITZ meets JoBee ProjectPosted on Feb 21, 2012 by Julius |
Joanna Bee met aCatCalledFRITZ thanks to her fellow SupAfly Collective member Jee Nice (Anattitude Magazine) in 2009, their paths crossed for the first time in Brussels at the SupAfly hip hop party launching event, where this Paris based beatmaker, producer, DJ and graphic designer showed off his skills behind the decks.
Two months later, they met up in Paris and that’s when their collaboration and friendship kicked off, by sharing similar musical feelings, with souls mixed and spiced up by jazz and hip hop, they spent great times in studio near Paris, with Cat’s crew and label Coffee Break Records. They have become musical family, working on new tracks and simply having great time!
Having released her jazz/pop album The Falling in 2011 under JoBee Project, Joanna is now preparing new releases. In the process, aCatCalledFRITZ picked up The Falling by JoBee Project and decided to leave his footprints on it by remixing “Honey” and “Falling”. The footprints of a shadow of a lonely Cat Called Fritz, who likes to anonymously wander big cities in the dark, amongst crowds, shed bright new light on the Falling and announces what more we can expect from their path crossing.
Make sure to also read Cat’s interview on Anattitude magazine.
