Scrabble 7inch - Official release

The story behind the record
I’m still amazed how from a track posted on this blog we ended up releasing it. So let me recapitulate the different steps in this Brussels/Tokyo collaboration…
Episode 1 (February): The Louie Gee Ensemble’s version of Rene Costy’s classic is posted on the Laid Back blog and we start exchanging emails with the Jazzy Sport crew about a potential release.
Episode 2 (April): Jazzy Sport’s manager Taro brings us Mitsu’s remix for the B side
Episode 3 (June): Pre-order on Rush Hour and final design
Episode 4 (July): Meeting Mitsu at the Dour festival
Episode 5 (early August): Test Press
Final episode (end August): Fresh from the pressing plant.

Apparently Rush Hour already sold all their copies (they will get a new batch next week). The record is also available on Groove Attack and Juno … more online shops will be added to the list soon. If you are looking for a copy, just ask your local record dealer to order it!
