Eddy "Closet Freaks"
For his 10th mix to be broadcasted in the Laid Back Show, Eddy played some lesser known R&B; gems from the 80's.Some are building blocks of later house, hiphop and swingbeat ... but at the time they didn't come out of any closet.
They stayed unknown for years, but were discovered by later musicians.
The piano-loop on 'Burning Up' by Imagination for instance is copied many times on house records.
To make a proper ending to the mix, Eddy also played some notes on the closing track under the name of Ed Venture.
