Katrah-Quey "Goodbye 2007"

Katrah-Quey [Note: His name is pronounced as 'Cat-tra Kay'] is a dj and producer from Saint Paul (Minnesota - US).
He discovered HipHop in the 90's and while listening, he investigated in the art of beatmaking.
Quey creates his music by sampling, playing keys and using experimental sound capturing techniques.

His projects include Radio Tag, an instrumental project (album) where all the beats are made out of samples recorded from the radio.
And a serie of remixes EP's available on little-d.com

Katrah Quey is not a stranger in Belgium as his sets have been played in De Hop and in the Laid Back show earlier this year.
He decided to close 2007 with us by mixing his favorite hip hop track of the year. Some of them he also produced the beat for.
Be sure to check Katrah-Quey's liner notes for more explanation on his choices.
