The All Original: I Art SA Project is curated by /A Word of Art and sponsored by the good people at Adidas. The project is created to uplift our community through art.

10 artists got together in one of Soweto’s neighborhoods called Mofolo. These artist were to paint at the Mofolo Park. Aiming to inspire the community through painting beautiful murals. The painting went on for a weekend.

The boys from Thesis Social Jam Session were fully involved in making sure that everything went well in Soweto. I’m really glad I had the privilege to be a part of this project.

These images were printed for the exhibition. Prints were sold and the funds raised would go to distributing art materials to nursery schools in Soweto (Johannesburg) and Woodstock (Cape Town).

The exhibition kicked off at the Maboneng Precinct in Johannesburg CBD. The turn out was really overwhelming… great nonetheless. Joburg people really love their art. We support each other too. Damn.
