Leaving the airwaves

Posted on October 31, 2010 by Julius | Share |

This is it. After 8 years of a weekly presence on the FM airwaves and more than 350 shows, we decided to call it a day. No more FM radio shows for us. Why? Well, for many reasons: lack of time, motivation and fresh ideas, other challenges and projects, … But don’t get me wrong, this FM experience was great from beginning ’til end and recording this last show was a heartbreaking moment.

Thank you to the Radio Vibration, Radio Panik and FM Brussel crews for broadcasting us; to wHo?, Nobeez, Pablo, Eric, Louis, Nevine, Marie-Ange, Chris, Jan for being part of team; to all the guests who joined us in the studio (the list would be too long but check this blog or mixcloud for some archives) and to all listeners tuning in on a regular basis.

No more FM radio shows doesn’t mean that we will disappear, we are just going fully online for a while. So keep checking our mixcloud account and our online radio station if you need some all school flavor in your ears. New Laid Back projects will be announced soon on this blog (the cloudcast will give you some hints).

Stay tuned.
