40 Winks are definitively on top of Laid Back’s favorite producers list. They released their “Hit the Hay” mixtape back in 2002 at the same time we started our radio show. Since then, every time they dropped a new record, they sent us a mix to promote it. And those are amongst the most downloaded and appreciated mixes we hosted.

So here we go again, after “More Than Loops“, “Extended Pleasure” and “Sound Puzzle“, “The Lucid Effect” released on German label Project Mooncircle is 40 Winks’ latest project.
