Kosmopolite Art Tour

Posted on Jun 30, 2012 by Julius |

What can I say… This project is way too big for its own good but I’m nevertheless happy to join the Farm Prod team on this crazy adventure: The second edition of the Kosmopolite Art Tour. After Brussels in 2010, we’re invited to decorate Belgium’s newest city, Louvain-La-Neuve (LLN), between July 30th & August 5th.

This is quite a challenge because the city built in the 70′s by and for the university has a really particular vibe and architecture. I must admit I have a love / hate relationship with LLN since I studied there some 15 years ago. The city changed a lot in the meantime (I hope I did too) and I’m looking forward to see it from a different angle… and be part of a project intented to “improve” it ;)

The main part of the event consists of 50+ artists, a mix of Belgium’s finests and international guests who will paint 7 walls. As side activities: three exhibitions (including one in Brussels - see below), a few workshops and even a block party are organized… For daily updates and last minutes events, check www.facebook.com/KosmopoliteArtTour

Hope to see you there and wish us good luck because this is pure madness…

  1. [...] can read more about the Belgian edition on Laid Back in English, while the official site http://www.kosmo-art-tour.com is only in [...]

    A bientôt
