“NYC Street Art . . .” by daystar297
A few days ago, I selected the above picture in the “Pictures of the Week #30” not knowing anything about the artist responsible for this great poster… Until a few hours later when I received an email from street documentalist Kriebel telling me “NYC Street Art is by a guy called Judith Supine” followed by a short biography and a few links:
“Judith Supine is a 29-year-old artist living in Brooklyn, NY. Supine could not speak until a month after his seventeenth birthday. He could not physically articulate words, he could only squeak and grunt. Supine often drew pictures to communicate with his family…. Judith Supine uses materials that are free or at least really cheap. He uses an exacto-knife, glue sticks, cheap ugly paints and sleazy magazines… ” (from Paper Monster)
