ZineGlüb: Black Music & Antifa

Posted on August 29, 2011 by Julius | Share |

On September 7th, ZineGlüb Arenberg and Lezarts Urbains invite director Marc Aurèle Vecchione (who also worked on “Writers: 20 years of graffiti in Paris“) to present two of his documentaries: Black Music and Antifa.

Blues, Jazz, Soul, Rap, … “Black Music” recounts the African American community’s perpetual struggle for freedom, the ways in which this struggle was declared, amplified and celebrated through music, and the ways in which it acquired a universal dimension.

“Antifa” documents the violent opposition between “redskins” and “white power skins” in Paris during the 80′S.

Schedule:
9pm: Black Music: des chaînes de fer aux chaînes en or (100 min.)

11.30pm: Antifa: chasseurs de skins (70 min.)
