Originally, Foreign Exchange - the name of the band - was referring to the way Nicolay (beat producer living then in the Netherlands) and Phonte (MC from North Carolina) used to exchange tracks on the internet, making music together before even meeting each other.

Four years after releasing their debut album “Connected”, Nicolay and Phonte present “Leave It All Behind” gathering the same team around them (Yahzarah & Darien Brockington but also Muhsinah). Don’t expect a rap album as Phonte is singing on most of the tracks of this really homogeneous album.
