Rock Bottom - Firenze record store
Posted on September 29, 2008 by LuiGi
Last month, I passed through Florence: the cradle of Renaissance, extraordinary architecture and world class art. In a way it’s overwhelming, but you’ll have to deal with a ridiculous amount of globe trotting tourists that are invading the center of the city.
In an attempt to escape from the mass-swallowing center and its load of tourist boutiques, I bumped into this small record store packed with vinyls. Mostly prog rock, psych rock and rarities from the last 40 years of rock history, but also a fine collection of soundtracks and jazz albums. The (really kind) staff knows exactly what there talking about but they know their prices also. No bargains in here, but if you’re looking for rarities or hard hitting breaks, this is the place to pass by in Tuscany.
