I recently received a flickr mail inviting me to check the following group. Apparently there is some kind of street art festival that will take place in a few weeks in Torino (IT) and they are asking artists to send some of their artworks for a poster exhibition.
Before even checking further in order to find more explanations, i gave wHo? a call wondering if he would be interested in participating to such a project. wHo? is Laid Back’s specialist when it comes to Street Art. A low profile character with crazy skills. Going to his place is like chilling in a museum’s storeroom. The place is packed with projects finished or not, records, pictures, posters, … I always feel like a kid in a toy store when i’m there. And once in a while, I try to convince him to share his art with the world and to use the Laid back platform to help him do so. We will see, he said. And then i forgot about it.
But tomorrow night, wHo? dropped by my place with a crazy package. I don’t even know what’s inside except for three posters that he asked me to add. Apparently, he worked together with Matthew Crasner and they made a few posters together.
I’m gonna send this package to Torino and, who knows, we might organize a quick trip in couple of weeks to see what Italian street art has to offer… and eventually discover what is inside this package.

Tx. Just saw that it’s on the 15th of November. It’s a pity, I’ll be in Torino from 9 till 12 November. Would loved to take some pics.
On that note: anyone tips for things to do/visit/eat/.. in Milaan or Turin ?
Grazie mille. h.
If you’re looking for records, you should go to the Psycho store in Milan (I think this is the address - Via Zamenhof, 2 - Milano): really cool if you’re looking for 70’s rock, psychedelic…
In Torino, there’s a good record store behind the university, very closed to the river (Po): sorry I can’t remember neither the name of the shop, nor the exact address: but if you walk from the university in the direction of the Po, you should find it quite easily. In Torino, you can also visit the Movie-museum, especially to have the view of the city from the tower’s museum.
Thanks a lot Fab-E. Otherwise, would you know any nice jazz/nu-jazz bars in Turin or Milan ?
