Putting Leuven on the map

Posted on October 27, 2008 by Julius

Leuven (located 30km from Brussels) is home to InBev and to the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven but not only …

Long time Laid Back collaborators Mr. Critical and BlastKid will be playing at café AperO (Oude Markt 52 - 3000 Leuven) respectively on the 31th of October and the 28th of November.

If you visit Leuven on a Monday evening be sure to check Snap Your Finger on radio Scorpio (between 7 and 8pm on 106 FM). It’s all about Jazz and it’s hosted by Laid Back’s jazz specialist BlasiKid who is also responsible for the Pulsations show on our online radio.

Club Bugalu and Giraffe Records will organize a record sale on Sunday the 16th of November (12am to 6pm) at Kessel-Lo (Leuven). Expect all kind of groovy and funky music: funk, soul, jazz, afro, reggae, hiphop, house, bossa nova, drum’n'bass, electro, samba, rare groove … Sellers who already confirmed: Giraffe Records, After Hours, King Rick, Charlie’s Records, Rim Winter, The Herbeez and Netlabelism and more.

At the same time, Funk/Soul band Alpacas and dj’s will be playing at Sojo Club.
Location: De Curve en Sojo Club, Een Meilaan 35, 3010 Kessel-Lo.
